Our general meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month commencing at 1pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend. These meetings are held at our administration office located at 22 Garland Street, Victoria Park.
Due to Christmas we have a break from these meetings, but arrange a BBQ at McCallum Park mid January. This is a very informal event and good opportunity to meet up with new or existing members. All are welcome.
Please call us on 0412 609 104 or email to confirm our next meeting date.
A requirement from DPaW is that all new carers complete the Basic Wildlife Carers course which is run by the Department of Parks and Wildlife.
Part of the cost of this course is subsidised by Malubillai, and these courses are held approximately four times a year. Course details are available from the DPaW website.
Malubillai carers are provided with ongoing support and assistance when undertaking the rehabilitation of our wildlife. Care costs are met by the individual carer, however Malubillai endeavours to either keep these costs to a bare minimum.
